Alcazaba
The official source states that the Alcazaba is closed to the public for safety reasons. No reopening date has been announced, so we do not give one. This affects that area only: the Nasrid Palaces, the Partal gardens and the Generalife follow their usual itinerary. Check the official source shortly before your visit.

Access to the Torre de Comares
Access to the Torre de Comares remains closed, while the usual daytime itinerary of the Nasrid Palaces is running again and the Partal gardens and the Generalife are fully open. It is a closure of one specific area, not of the palaces or of the monument. No reopening date has been published.

The walled site has four monumental zones — Alcazaba, Nasrid Palaces, Palace of Charles V and Generalife — plus a fifth practical category, access and orientation, for the arrival and wrap-up stops that are not monuments. Each colour groups the numbered stops of one category.

Where are the Nasrid Palaces on the Alhambra map?
The Nasrid Palaces sit in the middle of the walled complex, between the Alcazaba to the west and the Generalife gardens to the east. Their entry is timed, so plan the earlier stops around that slot.
Where do I enter, and where can I park?
The main visitor entrance and the ticket control are on the east side, a short signposted walk from the visitor car park. See the parking guide for access details and alternatives from the city.
In what order should I visit the Alhambra?
Build the order around the time printed on your Nasrid Palaces ticket, because that slot is fixed. The order suggested on this map is a recommendation: fortress and orientation first, then the palaces area, then the Generalife gardens.
What can I see on the map if I have no Nasrid Palaces ticket?
